The Approaches to Learning (ATL's) help students to develop the self-knowledge and skills they need to enjoy a lifetime of learning.
They are real Life Skills that help prepare students for their next step. ATL's are broken into 5 categories:
NISC Approaches to learning awards At the end of each academic year ATL awards will be presented to students from each grade level. These awards are voted for by teachers of each class. The student with the highest number of votes in a grade level for a skill will gain the award in the following: Communication - where students must show evidence of the following:

The Learner Profile (LP) consists of attributes that all IB programs aim to develop in students. The IB programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right. The IB Programmes help to develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in our rapidly globalising world.
